The first twintex Museum General Conference, organized for the 30th and 31st March 2007 in Prato, hosted by the Prato Textile Museum, was the occasion to present the first results of the activities of the network.
The abstracts of many speakers and the results of the working groups are now on line.
Exhibition Towards a European Textile DNA

The opening of the Twintex Museums Conference on Friday 30 March 2007 was accompanied by the inauguration of the Towards a European Textile DNA exhibition.
The exhibition aims to outline the industrial history of the districts of reference through a selection of materials conserved in museums and corporate archives of the ACTE communities in such a way as to provide an overview of the history of textile production in all the districts of the ACTE network.
